Weekend Warriors

Well after a days worth of driving we are finally on the last leg of our trip. I went to Austin with Josh, CJ and Travis to watch the game...which, well we all know how badly that ended. On a brighter note I was finally (kinda) able to enjoy 6th St at its full potential. My favorite former lab partner/current UT student Zachary "Speed-Racer" Blunt acted as our Austin liaison so the opportunity for a good time was never missed. I'm not sure I could handle that kind of traffic day in and day out but for a weekend it was do-able. Josh even allowed us 28 minutes of shopping at the outlet mall in Round Rock. Probably saved me some money so it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. As far as Texas Tech football goes I hope they can get it together. I sure do love going to the games and when we play well it's so much more fun to watch. Here's our top of the world view at Texas Memorial stadium. Good times.

Baby Smith Update

Im a little behind on everything but Baby Smith is officially an embryo. This is him or her at 12 weeks (which was about a week and a half ago) and the doctor says sex can be determined as early as 18 weeks. Sadly as of now the appointment is scheduled for when I will be on vacation even though that's like 20 weeks! I was going to get to go to the appointment since its in a different place. Hopefully it can be moved up so I can go. I don't want to hear second hand!
